Anna Silk

Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is a Canadian actor most famously known for her character Bo from the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Silk is the daughter of Peter an academic, as well as Ilkay Silk who is a renowned performer, actress, and playwright and Director of Drama in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers some of the first moments in her existence, such as taking part in rehearsals of stage plays. Silk made several commercials while she was still a kid. She was in 1997 when she received an associate's degree from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas staged at least 2 early plays: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk moved from Toronto in the month of November 1999 to Los Angeles California to pursue her career as an actor. She met her future husband, Seth Cooperman, at an actor's training held in Los Angeles in 2007. The couple was married civilly in December 2009. They renewed their vows on April 10, 2011 in Fredericton following the time that Silk changed her religion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her son, Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May 2013. The second son of hers, Levi Aaron was born on May 13, 2016. Silk's television work is a part of Being Erica as Cassidy Holland and she received an Gemini Awards nod in 2009. In 2009, she was cast in the main character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian TV show Lost Girl. Silk got pregnant in the course of production of the final season episode and broke the news to fans of the series during a Showcase pre-show Season Three special on January 6 2013. Silk is doing work on the show since the season's third finale episode was conceived on January 6 2013. She announced via Twitter that she would return to the show on June 4th, 2013 as Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of fourth season. CNN has named Bo's character along with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most popular TV couples of all time. E! voted it as top TV couple in the year 2013. Entertainment Television.
